Or in the sword in the stone pt. 2, Merlin (right before going to suck Morgana dry of her powers), when Merlin is giving Arthur one of his delicious pep talks, his face is half lighted. I think it’s to depict his magical side vs. his normal self. Love his genius this show is at showing irony through every angle. Now I’m just rambling of my love for everything Merlin.
